Class B-Bus Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities promptly.
• Foster a safe and positive atmosphere by ensuring appropriate student behavior on the bus.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe and secure travel.

Qualifications:

• Age: Must be 23 years or older.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Class A CDL driving experience within the last 3 years.
• MVR: A clean Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• Driving History: No DUI/DWI or reckless driving violations within the past 7 years.
• Background Check & Drug Screening: Successful completion of a full background check and drug screening.
• CDL License: A valid Class A CDL is preferred, or a minimum of Class B with the appropriate school bus endorsements.

Desired Skills & Attributes:

• Experience working with children or a background in customer service is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and a calm demeanor in all situations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected challenges, such as traffic delays or student-related issues.
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.

Shift Details:

• Home Daily – no overnight travel required.
• Full-Time Positions Available.
• Day Shifts Monday - Friday, with some evening shifts available.
